I have been involved with a range of Publications over the years that involve my work as a artist or a writer. The most recent as a contributor to "Culture Democracy and the right to make Art" by Bloomsbury Methuen. 

As an artist, the best seller "The Great Tapestry of Scotland" by Alistair Moffat for Birlinn Publishing. With the companion publication "The Great Tapestry of Scotland, the making of a masterpiece" by Susan Mansfield and Alistair Moffat. Birlinn also published the childrens book for "The story of Scotland" by Alan Burnett.

Similar books for "The Scottish Diaspora Tapestry" and "Battle of Prestonpans Tapestry" for The Prestoungrange University Press, where I have contributed essays on my role in these projects.  They have also published other books that contain my designs for tapestries, including " The Art of Narrative Embroidery" by Rosemary Farmer and Maggie Fergusan for Prestoungrange University Press. They have also published books that contain works that include paintings and murals.

Also I have written publications or contributed to the Craigmillar Communiversity Press and setting up Community based degree programmes and the catalogue for the 2005 exhibition "Arts The Catalyst Craigmillar".
